Dialogue in Creative Writing

In this course, Professor Lars Iyer (University of Newcastle) explores the role that dialogue brings to character in creative writing. In the first module we introduce dialogue in writing. In the second module, we look at dialogue and speech. In the third module we review the role of dialogue, before turning to rules of dialogue and speech attribution in the fourth module. In the fifth module, we explore character voices. In the sixth module, we examine characters in dialogue. In the seventh and final module, we discuss dialogue in scenes.
