Prof. Lars Iyer

BIOGRAPHY

Lars Iyer is a British novelist, philosopher, and Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University. He has published six novels, which have been translated into several languages and long- and shortlisted for various awards. His research interests are in philosophy, literature, and the overlap between the two disciplines. His recently published books include Nietzsche and the Burbs (2019) and My Weil (2023).
