Law and Justice
In this course, Prof. Leslie Moran (Birkbeck College London) explores the relationship between law and justice. In the first module, we explore justice. In the second module, we look at sources of justice. In the third module, we investigate theories of justice, before turning to justice models and capitalism in the fourth module. In the fifth module, we examine civil justice through looking at slavery, and in the sixth and final module we consider criminal justice by looking at hate crime.
Justice
In this module, we discuss the meaning of justice in law, focusing in particular on (i) Justicia and symbols of justice (ii) procedural justice (iii) substantive justice (iv) civil and criminal justice (v) problems with defining justice.
