About the lecture

In this module, we apply what we have learned so far about global governance to the problem of climate change, focusing in particular on: (i) the relevance of the UN to this discussion and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); (ii) the Paris Agreement; (iii) the problem of enforcement and cooperation for climate change policies; (iv) the two key theories of Realism and Liberalism; (v) examples of such standards being successfully enforced, as with the Hague District Court enforcing Paris Agreement standards on Shell in May 2021.
