About the lecture

In this module, we discuss the meaning of justice in law, focusing in particular on (i) Justicia and symbols of justice (ii) procedural justice (iii) substantive justice (iv) civil and criminal justice (v) problems with defining justice.

About the lecturer

Professor Leslie Moran is Senior Associate Research Fellow in Law at Birkbeck College, London. He has written and researched extensively on matters relating to sexuality and law, criminal justice, with particular reference to hate crime, law and visual culture and the judiciary.
