Prof. Cara Erdheim Kilgallen

BIOGRAPHY

Cara Erdheim Kilgallen is an Associate Professor of English in the Department of Languages and Literature at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Her research and writing focus on American literature, comedy, environmental theory, disability studies, sports narratives, and Jewish American writing. Dr. Kilgallen has published in the fields of American literary naturalism, African American writing, cultural food studies, ecocriticism, and Jewish narratives. Her current project explores the role of Jewish humor in American writing, the humanities, and higher education. She identifies as a creator of stories and a connector of people, an academic, a professor of English, an author, and an avid athlete (figure skating, tennis, and golf).
