BIOGRAPHY

Professor Sir Paul Collier is Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Oxford. He is one of the world’s leading development economists, having previously served as Director of the Research Development Department of the World Bank, and he received a knighthood for “promoting research and policy change in Africa” in 2014. His notable recent publications include Left Behind: A New Economics for Neglected Places (2024), Greed is Dead: Politics After Individualism (2020, co-author), and The Future of Capitalism: Facing the New Anxieties (2018).
