Professor Peter Rutland

BIOGRAPHY

Peter Rutland is Professor of Government and the Colin and Nancy Campbell Chair for Global Issues and Democratic Thought at Wesleyan University. His research focuses on contemporary nationalism, politics, and economy in Russia and the late Soviet Union. His publications include The Politics of Economic Stagnation in the Soviet Union (2009).
