Professor Michael Hughes

BIOGRAPHY

Michael Hughes is a professor of History at Lancaster University. His research focuses on the history of nineteenth and twentieth century Russia, with a particular interest in the development of Russian conservative thought from 1815 down to the 1917 Revolution. His most recent publication Feliks Volkhovskii: A Revolutionary Life was published in 2024.
