BIOGRAPHY
Dr Robert Hornsby is an Associate Professor in Modern European History at the University of Leeds. His research focuses on dissenting behaviour and regime responses in the USSR under Nikita Khrushchev, and the history of the Communist Youth League. His most recent publication The Soviet Sixties (2023) examines Khrushchev’s years in the period 1953-1964.
