Professor Catriona Pennell is Professor of Modern History in the Archaeology and History Department at the University of Exeter. Professor Pennell’s research interest is in the cultural history of war. Some of Professor Pennell’s recent publications include ‘Imagining futures/future imaginings: creative heritage work with young people in Uganda’ (2023) and ‘The hard work of reparative futures: Exploring the potential of creative and convivial practices in post-conflict Uganda’ (2023).
