Dr Aled Davies

BIOGRAPHY

Dr Aled Davies is a lecturer in history at St John’s College, University of Oxford. Dr Davies’ research interests are in the transition in modern capitalism from managed global capitalism to neoliberal political-economic order. Some of Dr Davies’ recent publications include ‘The City of London and Social Democracy: the political economy of finance in Britain, 1959–1979’ (2017) and ‘The Neoliberal Ager? Britain since the 1970s’ (2021).
