Dr Ilona Kater is an Institute Associate at the Scott Polar Research Institute, University of Cambridge. She is an Arctic ecologist, researching a range of topics related to human-environment interactions and ecosystem change in the region, such as reindeer herding, soil carbon fluxes, and the impacts of land use change.
