BIOGRAPHY

Professor Dániel Margócsy is Professor in the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at Cambridge University. He is an expert on early modern natural history and medicine, in particular specialising in the life and work of Andreas Vesalius. His recent publications include The Fabrica of Andreas Vesalius: A Worldwide Descriptive Census, Ownership, and Annotations of the 1543 and 1555 Editions (2018) and Commercial Visions: Science, Trade and Visual Culture in the Dutch Golden Age (2014).
