Dr Pierre-Louis Vezina

BIOGRAPHY

Pierre-Louis Vezina is a Reader in Economics at the Department of Political Economy, King’s College London. He specialises in how natural experiments and novel datasets can be used to get a better grasp of policy issues in trade, development, and migration. With this in mind, he has written widely, including ‘The oil nouveau riche and arms imports’ (Journal of African Economies, 2021) and ‘The Imperial Roots of Global Trade’ (Journal of Economic Growth, 2020)
