About the lecture

In this module, we provide a broad introduction to the history of Spain up to the mid-15th century, tracing the development of region from its period under the Roman, Visigothic and Umayyad Empires. We also think briefly about the concept of convivencia ('co-existence') between the Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities, whose interactions characterise much of this period.
