About the lecture
In this module, we look at the ideal of the rule of law, focusing in particular on (i) the meaning of the rule of law (ii) the rule of law as a moral idea (iii) how to evaluate arguments concerning the rule of law.
About the lecturer
Dr Dimitrios Kyritsis is a reader in law at the University of Essex. His research interests are in legal and political philosophy, constitutional theory and human rights law. He is the author of Shared Authority: Courts and Legislatures in Legal Theory (2015) and Where Our Protection Lies: Separation of Powers and Constitutional Review (2017).
